Given the success and interest generated by the I Workshop on "Innovative use of ICTs in Special Education. Towards an inclusive school" , held last year in Alcorisa (Teruel) the Aragonés Technology Center Education - CATEDU , in collaboration with the Department of Education, Culture and Sports of the Government of Aragon , will make the II-EE ICT CONFERENCE 2011 for this coming month of May .

"The use of ICT in the care of pupils with special educational needs has demonstrated over recent years that facilitates communication, access to information, development of learning, changing the environment, their independence, social and cognitive development their access to leisure and employment.
The commitment to the spread of ICTs in Special Education Centres being developed by the Government of Aragon, is a challenge and an opportunity for all professionals involved.
To support this process, the Center's Aragones CATEDU Educational Technology in collaboration with the Department of Education, Culture and Sports of the Government of Aragon, was necessary, the last year, organizing a Conference on Innovative Use of ICT in Special Education. Given the success of participation and interest in them has been proposed to convene a second day this May.
It intended to build on the knowledge of those experiences, and best practices for using ICT in E. Special and technical aids, software and online tools are being used in centers for the care of pupils with special educational needs special.
In order to facilitate the participation of the centers have enabled two categories: experiences and workshops and opened a deadline for their submission .
The experience will last approximately 45 minutes question time about 15 minutes. These experiences may occur or best practices in the use and implementation of ICT in health and speech therapy for students with special educational needs in mainstream schools is specific or counseling teams.
The workshops will last approximately 1 hour and aims to show how practical the use and management of online tools, software or technical aids. Brá has computer labs available for people who sign up can participate actively.
The deadline for submission of experiences and workshops starting on February 14 and end on March 6 2011.
The truth is that last year there was a great success attendance (sold out), had a great time and learned a lot of new things about ICT in the field of special education and speech therapy.
This year there will be less. FREE list so soon, because soon run out of places and then there will be no remedy.
