I have overcome the jet lag from Tenerife and I could relax after the whirlwind trip to this amazing island . And I love the friendly and cheerful character of the people there:)
The truth is that since ARASAAC , we are very grateful to the Insular Society for the Promotion of Persons with Disabilities (SINPROMI) and Cabildo Insular for inviting us to participate in this conference on "Tourism and Accessibility " held in Tenerife Art Space TEA, and for their hospitality at all times.
When we said that we participate in this conference, it seemed a fantastic idea and that communication with SAAC is an issue that is still unknown in many areas of everyday where we live normally.
is also true that, little by little, we are getting awareness and sensitize different social groups in the importance of these systems in people who have severe functional limitations in communication and who can not use other systems such as sign language or writing.
I had the honor of sharing the table " INFORMATION, COMMUNICATION AND SIGNALING IN TOURISM" and to hear presentations by Miguel Ángel Valero Dubois, Professor of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Collado Amaya Padilla , Special Education Teacher Classroom IES Enclave Garachico Mayor Lorenzo Dorta, Remedios Zamora Castro, Hearing and Language Teacher of CEEE Inés Fuentes and Maria Clotilde Gonzalez Polegre .
Let me tell you ... I found some outstanding and safe interventions that participants took note of these exposures and experiences as an example of usability and accessibility in the field of tourism.
on my personal experience was a very hard and stressful journey for the speed and because we have no flight from Zaragoza to Tenerife (this month inaugurated a new line), but he made up the whole deal very kind of organization (to his head Virginia González ), so nice afternoon spent with Amaya , Alicia and fellow EEC Ines Fuentes (you're great!) and to have known Michelangelo Valero, which I found a great professional and a fantastic person to look forward to working in some of these projects we discussed.
So thanks to everyone and to know that is an experience I will never forget.
Now we wait for David returns from Ourense and told us that this has been in Congress TADEGA II on "Practice dixitais na Diversidade attention to."
sure my "adopted son" has also left the flag arasaaciano loudly;)
